Google Safe Browsing
Your website is automatically checked for manipulation and harmful content on a daily basis using Google Safe Browsing. If our tests find any abnormalities, we will let you know immediately and discuss further action with you to protect your visitors and your Google ranking. (The package only includes checking the website).
Accessibility check
Our system automatically checks every 5 minutes whether your website is available. If there is a disruption or your website is unavailable, we will let you know by email.
WordPress spam cleanup
To ensure that your website does not display suspicious links, advertisements or censored content, we perform a monthly automatic cleanup of your comments.
Google Search Console
Google Search Console offers website owners the possibility to submit their own website to Google. We will be happy to set up an account for you and keep track of it.
Link monitoring
Faulty links can lead to a negative ranking in Google. To make sure this doesn’t happen to you, we check the links on your website monthly and send you a report with recommendations for action.
Web Application Firewall
For those who want to protect their WordPress website against further attacks (brute force, DDOS, …), we recommend our web application firewall package. We install a powerful firewall (WordFence, iThemes Security, Ninja Firewall) that automatically detects attacks and takes the appropriate steps. (If necessary, conclusion of an additional AV contract)

Visitor statistics
Would you like to know how often your website is visited and which pages are the most popular? We will gladly take over the evaluation as part of our monthly maintenance and send you a report by e-mail.

Staging server
We create a staging environment of your website on one of our servers within Germany. There, all updates and WordPress maintenance are carried out before they are transferred to the live system. Problems caused by outdated plugins or missing downward incompatibilities can thus be detected and fixed in advance.
Editorial support
Do you need help with adding content? We will be happy to do this for you. Invoicing is based on time and effort at 15-minute intervals. You simply provide us with the texts and images and we place them appropriately on your website.
WordPress programming
You want to extend your website, need new features or want to address external API interfaces to provide an even better service to your customers? We are happy to do the programming for you according to WordPress standards.
Repair after updates
In rare cases, backward compatibility of plugins and themes may not be guaranteed, or compatibility issues may occur. To ensure that your website is still presented in an appealing and error-free manner, we will help you with any repairs that may be necessary.
Why WordPress maintenance makes sense?
5 reasons for WordPress maintenance
01
WordPress is a modular system that consists of three parts, the WordPress core, plugins and themes from external authors. Depending on how good the programmer is, there may be unintended security vulnerabilities. Updates are provided to close these. However, these must also be installed. WordPress agencies like us also use external API interfaces (e.g. wpscan.com) that are connected to our WordPress maintenance contracts to automatically check WordPress core files, plugins and themes for potential security vulnerabilities.
02
Plugin and theme developers regularly adjust their code. This can be for a variety of reasons, such as closing security holes, adding new features, or removing code fragments that are no longer needed. The programmers usually make sure that the updates are compatible with the previous version. How often updates are provided is usually decided by the author. Monthly cycles are not uncommon here. Therefore, we have designed our WordPress maintenance to be monthly updates. This allows for maximum compatibility and reduces the risk of layout mismatches and the occurrence of technical problems.
03
During the further development of plugins, themes and WordPress, the programmers usually also work on new functions. After all, you want to keep the customer and that is usually best achieved by offering a wider range of functions. By installing updates, these new functions are made available. This can result in both aesthetic and technical optimizations.
04
Let’s face it, programmers are only human. Of course, it can also happen with more complex applications that one or the other error creeps into the system. However, as soon as the bugs are detected, the developers make sure that they are fixed as soon as possible with a hotfix. Through our WordPress maintenance, we make sure that you don’t notice as much as possible and that your workflows are not affected.
05
No system is 100% secure. Therefore, every website operator should perform regular backups. Most often, websites are infected by bots that automatically crawl websites and scan WordPress websites for known vulnerabilities. If a vulnerability has been detected, the malicious code is injected. It is not uncommon for these bots to delete existing backups or infect them as well. Therefore, it is even more important to store your backups on an external server. Our maintenance packages perform the backup on one of our servers – invulnerable to infection.
