Typo3 maintenance, even when the LTS clock is ticking.

Your TYPO3 runs B2B portals, multilingual sites or multiple tenants — outages and missed LTS upgrades cost you visibility and security. We keep your installation current, secure and migration-ready: founder-run, with a fixed response time and cancellable monthly. From 59 €/month.

01 · What's inside the maintenance

Maintenance for Typo3, the serious kind.

Maintenance isn't "click update once a month". It's security, performance, and a backup you can actually restore.

  • TYPO3 core updates (sprint + LTS)
  • Extension care & Composer stack updates
  • Multilingual / multi-tenant setups
  • TypoScript and Fluid audit
  • v9 → v13 migration path

03 · What happens without maintenance

The real risks.

01EOL, no patches

After LTS end-of-life there are no more security updates.

Every TYPO3 version has a fixed end of support. After that there are no official patches — known vulnerabilities stay open for good, unless you buy costly ELTS extensions. We plan the version switch as a continuous path, not a last-minute jump.

02Extension debt

Unmaintained extensions block the next update.

Custom and third-party extensions without care break on the next core update — or quietly open a security hole. The longer they're neglected, the more expensive and risky the later fix. We audit, refactor and document continuously.

03Attack & GDPR

An open vulnerability is entry point #1.

Defacement, malware, leaked records — a successful attack hits operations and reputation at once. If personal data is involved, the GDPR clock starts: notify the authority within 72 hours, plus possible fines.

04Backup blind flight

Without a tested backup there's no way back in an emergency.

A failed update or a server crash — and the restore only works if it was tested beforehand. Otherwise: hours to days offline. For B2B portals that means blocked processes and silent revenue loss.

05Multilingual drift

10 languages, 20 dialects — and nobody keeps it all up to date.

Multi-tenant and multilingual setups drift apart without clear workflows: stale translations, inconsistent content, bugs in just one language. We bring structure into the translation pipeline.

06Performance decay

Slow pages cost you rankings — gradually.

Stale caches, a grown database, unmaintained extensions: load time creeps up. Google penalises weak Core Web Vitals — the ranking and traffic loss often only shows once the leads dry up.

04 · FAQ

Common questions.

01Do you also handle v9 → v13 migrations?

Yes — typically in 1–2 sprints, depending on scope. With redirect mapping and a live switch that doesn't cost you SEO rankings.

02Which hosts?

Mittwald, Hetzner, your own hosting, any serious Composer-capable environment.

03What about custom extensions?

We audit, refactor when needed, document. In the Pro/Studio package small extension tweaks are covered by the support allowance.

04Do you also maintain v8 / v7?

We only keep end-of-life versions alive as a bridge to migration. Long term it's dangerous for your security.

05Can I cancel monthly?

Yes. All maintenance plans are cancellable monthly — no minimum term, no lock-in.

06How fast do you respond in an emergency?

With a fixed response time: email in the Care plan, under 24 h in Pro and under 6 h in Studio, on business days.

07Who looks after my TYPO3?

A dedicated contact with a direct line to the founder — no rotating ticket team that has to start from scratch every time.

08What does TYPO3 maintenance cost?

From 59 €/month at a fixed price. Multilingual or multi-tenant setups usually run in the Pro or Studio plan — all prices on the maintenance overview.
