With maintenance vs. no contract.
Maintenance isn't a cost — it's insurance against the expensive emergency.
What does downtime cost — and what does maintenance save?
Estimate your yearly risk without ongoing maintenance. It runs live in your browser — no data leaves your machine.
Rough orientation, not a binding quote. Revenue/hour = monthly revenue × 12 ÷ 4,380 active hours (~12 h/day); Care M = 159 €/month.
Maintenance isn't a click on 'update'.
It's security, performance, uptime, peace of mind. And: a backup you can actually restore — not just on paper.

Frequently asked questions about maintenance.
01What does WordPress maintenance cost?
Care S €59, Care M €159, Care L €299 per month (net), cancellable monthly. For multi-site/compliance: Enterprise from €590.
02Are changes to the website included?
Care M up to 2 h/month, Care L up to 6 h/month. Care S includes no changes. Extra work: €102/hr after approval.
03Are hosting and licenses included?
No, third-party and license costs are borne by the client. We manage and optimise.
04What happens in an emergency (hack/outage)?
We handle emergencies with top priority as part of the service, regardless of the hour quota.
05Is there a minimum term?
No. Bookable and cancellable monthly, no setup fee.
06How fast do you respond?
Care M < 24 h, Care L < 6 h (business days). Care S: email support with no fixed response time.
07What is included in a WordPress maintenance contract?
Typically: checked updates of core, plugins and theme, daily and pre-change backups, uptime and security monitoring, minor changes within the hour quota, and a dedicated contact. The exact scope depends on the Care tier (S/M/L).
08How often should WordPress be maintained?
Security updates should be applied promptly, regular updates checked at least weekly, backups daily, monitoring continuously. We take over exactly this rhythm so nothing slips.
09Aren't WordPress's automatic updates enough?
Auto-updates do close gaps, but with plugin conflicts they can take the site down — and nobody notices. We check updates by hand, test critical cases on a staging copy and keep a tested backup as a safety net.
10Do you also take over existing sites from other agencies?
Yes, that's the normal case. After a short website audit we take over ongoing care — regardless of who originally built the site.
11What is the difference between maintenance and hosting?
Hosting is the server the site runs on. Maintenance looks after the application on top: updates, security, backups, error fixing. Both are needed — we handle the maintenance and work with your host.
12Is maintenance worth it for a small website?
Yes. Small, rarely touched sites in particular become an entry point because updates pile up. Care S from €59/month covers the basics — updates, backups, monitoring — without a big budget.
Maintenance — in brief.
Managed updates
Checked, manual updating of core, plugins and theme — instead of a blind auto-update that can break the site.
Staging environment
A private test copy where updates and changes are verified before they go live.
Uptime monitoring
Continuous availability and security monitoring with an alert when the site goes down or acts up.
Backup & restore
Regular, tested backups plus a rehearsed restore — the safety net when it counts.
SLA / first response
The committed time to a first reply to a request — not to be confused with the resolution time.
Quota & extra hours
Work time included in the package; beyond that €102/hr after prior approval.
