What we do every month.
The real risks.
60% of all WP hacks come through outdated plugins.
One unpatched plugin is enough. We scan weekly and patch critical CVEs in under 24h.
Every bit of plugin sprawl costs you TTFB.
Creeping performance loss through plugin bloat — we clean house, optimize the DB and CDN setup.
A backup you've never tested isn't a backup.
We test restores every quarter. So you don't get surprised when it really matters.
With maintenance vs. no contract.
Maintenance isn't a cost — it's the insurance against the expensive emergency.
What does downtime cost — and what does maintenance save?
Estimate your yearly risk without ongoing WordPress maintenance. It runs live in your browser — no data leaves your machine.
Rough orientation, not a binding quote. Revenue/hour = monthly revenue × 12 ÷ 4,380 active hours (~12 h/day).
Common questions.
01How much does WordPress maintenance cost?
From 59 €/month on Care S, 159 € on Care M, 299 € on Care L — all fixed monthly prices. Details on the maintenance overview.
02What if a plugin stops getting maintained?
Then we get in touch and suggest a replacement or a custom plugin. On the Pro/Studio package, small plugin adjustments are included in the support allowance.
03Do you take over existing sites?
Yes — we run a one-day audit, review the repo, hosting and plugins, and typically take over within 2 weeks with no downtime.
04Which hosts do you support?
All the serious ones: Raidboxes, Kinsta, WP Engine, your own hosting (DigitalOcean, Hetzner). We can also bring our own hosting if you'd prefer.
05Can I cancel monthly?
Yes. All maintenance plans are bookable and cancellable monthly — a fixed price, not a lock-in contract. You stay because it fits, not because a contract holds you.
06How fast do you respond to a problem?
Depending on the plan: from Care M there's a guaranteed response time under 24 hours (business days), prioritised at Care L. We apply critical security updates promptly — not at the next maintenance window.
07Who is my point of contact?
The founder directly — no call centre, no ticket queue, no rotating agents. You talk to the person who knows your site.
08What is WordPress maintenance and what is included?
WordPress maintenance is the ongoing technical care of your site: checked updates for core, plugins and theme, weekly security scans, tested backups, uptime monitoring and a dedicated contact. The exact scope depends on the Care tier (S/M/L).
09How often does WordPress need to be maintained?
Security updates should be applied promptly, regular updates checked at least weekly, backups run daily and monitoring around the clock. We take over exactly this rhythm so nothing slips.
10Aren't WordPress's automatic updates enough?
Auto-updates do close gaps, but with plugin conflicts they can take the site down — and nobody notices. We check updates by hand, test critical cases on a staging copy and keep a tested backup as a safety net.
11Should I maintain WordPress myself or hire an agency?
Maintaining it yourself is possible, but it costs time and know-how — and in an emergency the tested backup is often missing. With an agency you get a fixed cadence, monitoring and fast response at a predictable flat price, without having to track every security gap yourself.
12Do you also look after sites built by other agencies?
Yes, that's the normal case. After a short website audit we take over ongoing care — regardless of who originally built the site.
13What is the difference between maintenance and hosting?
Hosting is the server the site runs on. Maintenance looks after the application on top: updates, security, backups, error fixing. Both are needed — we handle the maintenance and work with your host.

WordPress maintenance — in brief.
Managed updates
Checked, manual updating instead of a blind auto-update — with a check that everything still runs once it's applied.
Staging environment
A private test copy of the site where updates and changes are verified before they reach the live site.
Backup & restore
Regular backups kept in a second location plus a rehearsed restore — the safety net when it counts.
Uptime monitoring
Continuous availability checks with an alert the moment the site goes down or responds unusually slowly.
wp-config hardening
Securing the central config file and the login — file permissions, keys, a disabled file editor, less attack surface.
Core/plugin/theme updates
The three update layers of WordPress: the core itself, installed plugins and the active theme — each with its own risk, all kept current.
