01What is the difference between single and double opt-in?
With single opt-in, registration is effective immediately after submitting the form. With double opt-in, the user must additionally verify their email address via a confirmation link. This procedure is the recommended standard for legally secure consents in Germany and the EU.
02Is the plugin GDPR compliant?
Yes. The plugin stores all relevant proof data: timestamp of consent, IP addresses, the consent text, and a snapshot of the form. Additionally, it integrates with WordPress Privacy Tools for data export and deletion.
03Does the plugin work with my theme?
The plugin operates in the backend and during email delivery. It has no visible frontend impact on your theme. You can freely design the confirmation and error pages.
04Can I run multiple forms with different settings?
Yes, each form can be individually configured – custom email template, sender, confirmation page, conditions, and categories.
05What happens if a user does not click the confirmation link?
Unconfirmed entries will be automatically deleted after the configurable retention period. With the Pro version, you can also send automatic reminder emails.
06Can I upgrade from the free to the pro version?
Yes, an upgrade is possible at any time. All existing settings and data will be retained.
