The free version offers complete analysis plus around 12 optimization tools. Pro adds page caching, critical CSS, unused CSS, image optimization, script delay, and the one-click optimizer – ideal for maximum performance.
02Does the plugin slow down my site?
No. The analysis runs only in the admin; the frontend optimizations actively speed up the site. The page cache (Pro) can reduce load time by 80–95%.
03Does it work with my theme?
Yes, it is theme-agnostic. The frontend optimizations automatically compensate for typical theme weaknesses.
04Is the plugin GDPR compliant?
Yes. It does not store any personal data; the PageSpeed API only sends the URL to Google. Local Google Fonts (Pro) replaces external font requests with local files.
05How do I activate Pro?
Install Pro as a separate plugin (the free version remains active) and enter the license key under F12 Profiler → Settings → License.
